  • The $150 entry fee for ‘Senior Ambassadors’ | $150 entry fee for ‘Junior Ambassadors’ has been paid into the Burdekin Water Festival Committee account.

  • The entrant’s Sponsoring Organisation will need to have Public Risk/Liability Insurance cover for fundraising activities.

Media Permission

The Junior / Senior Ambassador Nomination Entrant is to give permission to the following organisations to produce and use photographs or other reproductions of themselves (Senior Ambassadors), of their child (Junior Ambassadors) or of materials owned by themselves or their child. Such images may be used without compensation in production, publications, on the Internet and Facebook or in other printed or electronic materials. The use of these images must be related to the functions held in conjunction with the Burdekin Water Festival.

 

Media Organisations:

  • Burdekin Water Festival Committee.
  • Newspapers – Burdekin Life, Townsville Bulletin.
  • Television Stations – Channel 7, Channel 9, Channel 10, ABC.
  • Social Media Platforms – Facebook, Burdekin Water Festival website, etc.

Junior Acknowledgement

  1. Both the Junior Ambassador Entrant and the Sponsoring Organisation are to agree to abide by the Rules, Regulations and Code of Conduct (refer to the Junior Ambassador Information Booklet) as set down by the Burdekin Water Festival Committee, which may be varied from time to time at any General or Special Meeting of the BWF committee.
  2. Junior Ambassadors must be in Year 6 or Year 7 in and attending a primary school in the Burdekin Shire.
  3. The Sponsoring Organisation agrees to have at least one representative at each General or Special Meeting, as set down by the Burdekin Water Festival Committee.

Senior Acknowledgement

  1. Both the Senior Ambassador Entrant and the Sponsoring Organisation are to agree to abide by the Rules, Regulations and Code of Conduct (refer to the Senior Ambassador Information Booklet) as set down by the Burdekin Water Festival Committee, which may be varied from time to time at any General or Special Meeting of the BWF committee.
  2. Senior Ambassadors must be resident of the Burdekin Shire or a university student living in Townsville whose parents reside in the Burdekin.
  3. Senior Ambassadors must be aged 18 or over (by 30 June ), and no longer attending secondary school.
  4. The Sponsoring Organisation agrees to have at least one representative at each General or Special Meeting, as set down by the Burdekin Water Festival Committee.
