To successfully complete this nomination form, please be aware of the following:

  • The Store Holder will need to have:
    • Public Risk/Liability Insurance cover.
    • Food Handling Certificate or Mobile Food Vender Licence or Temporary Food Business Licence.
  • 3m x 3m Site Fee. There are 2 categories for fees:
    • $10 – Locally (Burdekin Shire) crafted goods; this does not include food.
    • $50 – All other stalls.
  • You can order 1, 2, 3 sites with the cost multiplying.
  • The $10/$20/$30 or $50/$100/$150 site fee for the Mardi Gras stall has been paid into the Burdekin Water Festival Committee account. Please use your Organisation Name and ‘Mardi Gras’ as the reference.

  • You should be familiar with the Mardi Gras “Terms & Conditions – Site Rental” for all Stall Holders.

Public Liability Certificate of Currency

All Participating Organisations with a stall at the Mardi Gras will need to have Public Risk / Liability Insurance cover.
Please attach a Public Liability Certificate of Currency
A Certificate of Currency can be obtained from your Insurer or Broker.

I understand that this completed Store Holder Space Request is fundamental to confirm Space Allocation at the 2022 Burdekin Water Festival Mardi Gras.

I understand that site fees may not be refunded if the ‘Terms & Conditions – Site Rental’ are breached. If my Stall Holders Request for Space Application is not accepted, my fees will be fully refunded. I confirm that the organisation has relevant insurances in place and understand that the Burdekin Water Festival Committee Inc. is in no way responsible for my actions or the actions of any other person working for, volunteering at, or in any other way involved in, the stall.

I understand that liability for my actions and those of others involved in any way with the stall are the sole responsibility of the organisation named. I can confirm that I have read the information contained in the Stall Holders Terms and Conditions and will ensure this information is passed on to, and abided by, by all persons involved with the stall.
